About Joseph Prendergast
Joseph Prendergast taught Advanced Placement English, reading, film study, and poetry in High School District 214, northwest suburban Chicago.
His work has appeared in American Cowboy Poetry Magazine, The Cape Rock, Pennsylvania English, The Evansville Review, Meridian Anthology of Contemporary Poetry, Sanskrit, riverSedge, Story Head, and Old Red Kimono. In the summer of 1996, he was a recipient of a National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Seminar for School Teachers: The Gothic Cathedral as a Mirror of Medieval Culture, under the direction of Professor Robert G. Calkins, Cornell University.
Mr. Prendergast lives in Chicago and Paris with his wife, Patricia Tennison.
